I can say with absolute confidence that we could not have had a better realtor. Amy has many qualities which make her a good real estate agent, but she has a few that I believe set her apart from other agents and make her a necessity to have in your corner during the home buying process. Firstly, she listens extremely well, and genuinely cares about meeting and exceeding her clients expectations. I never had to repeat any of our home wants/needs to Amy, and she kept a running list of all our thoughts that was extremely organized and helpful. Second, she is wonderfully efficient and gets jobs completed quickly. Any time we had a task to complete, paperwork to be done, or consultations/referrals to make Amy took care of it in no time. If she told me she was going to do something, I always had a confirmatory email in my inbox when I got home that she had taken care of it. In addition to getting it done, she would also provide a thorough explanation and suggestions for other options we may want to explore. Third, she advocates for her clients. Amy always stepped up to bat for us, no questions asked. She was always polite and poised in her advocacy, but she was stern enough when she needed to be to make sure my wife and I had all our needs met and were not taken advantage of. Lastly, she is realistic and honest. Amy never tried to sell us on anything we weren't 100% comfortable with. I knew if I asked her a question, I could expect an honest answer and that she wouldn't try to say something just to sell me a house. She always gave her true opinion, and was realistic about timelines and expectations. Long story short, Amy has a great working knowledge of the real estate market, but also has some qualities which make her stand above other realtors. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat, and I cannot imagine having to buy a home without her on our side. She really took the stress out of the process and did all the heavy-lifting for us.
